Catherine has received this from the County Council to circulate to KDCS members, and draws attention to the questionnaire in the
linked document (below), regarding cycling and walking in Kendal.
"Cumbria County Council in partnership with Cumbria Local Enterprise
Partnership (CLEP) and Cumbria's six district councils are developing a series
of Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) for urban areas
across Cumbria.
A Public Consultation
seeking views on emerging LCWIPs for the areas of Carlisle,
Barrow-in-Furness and Kendal is now live and will continue for 3 weeks
up to Friday 28th May 2021.
For more information on
the LCWIPs and to view copies of the consultation materials please go to our
project website at www.cumbria.gov.uk/planning-environment/cyclingandwalking
We invite our partners,
stakeholders, interest groups and members of the public to feedback on the
draft cycling and walking networks developed via the online questionnaire
on our project website."
