Description
From Windermere Station, turn left onto the main road towards Troutbeck Bridge.
Just after the garage turn right onto Bridge Lane. Continue up the hill – and turn left to YHA for refreshments.
Leave and continue up the hill and continue on Townend road and pass the Old Post Office Tearoom. Continue on road and pass (or call in ) Mortal Man pub (on right). Continue on road (Scot Brow and Townend Brow). At junction turn sharp right and head down road and pass (or call in) the Queens Head. Head down pass (or call in) Limefitt Park (Haybarn bar). Pass church on right and continue straight on over bridge on Patterdale Road.
Continue on road and turn sharp left up hill (Dodd’s Lane) and continue straight along road (Moorhowe Road and eventually Mislet Brow). At main road junction at Ings- cross over road and turn right and continue on cycle path alongside A591 to Windermere and turning left returning to Windermere station .
