The open and free club for all things cycling rides, routes, events and campaigns.

I hope you’ve all booked your places for another great night at the Eagle and Child in Staveley on Thursday 15 December. It’ll be a chilly ride out! Check back on the photo gallery in the New Year to see how it went...
Freewheelers are now running a series of maintenance courses at their new workshop in Lancaster. There's a range of different courses (mixed and women only). To check the programme and book a course click here.
Are you signed up to the ATOG mailing list yet? ATOG is the group campaigning for a path/cycleway alongside the railway viaduct from Arnside To Grange, to be installed while current upgrade work is going on. Although the refurbishment of the viaduct is now complete, the council now has a mandate to fit the work into the Local Transport Plan and the path could still be developed as part of future maintenance work if funding is available. To join the ATOG mailing list and get updates as things develop, email atog2011@talktalk.net.
We hope to make our new rides list (January to June) available to download on our Rides page first thing in the New Year. These are free group rides from 25 to 60 miles in length, mainly starting from Kendal but also from places as far afield as Ulverston and Crook o’ Lune. Please make a note of the dates and join us if you can. The more, the merrier. Our Easy Tuesday rides will start again in May 2012.
